Public engagement, especially around project prioritization, can be very difficult when the public does not have a good understanding of budget constraints and long-term planning. The NADO Research Foundation has created a resource to assist communities in brainstorming new ways to engage directly with their communities. This resource includes a number of examples of public engagement strategies focused on project prioritization and participatory budgeting at all levels. The resource is linked below.
