The Maritime Administration (MARAD) has roughly $662 million in available funding for its Port Infrastructure Development Program (PIDP) Grant Program. The PIDP supports the modernization of America’s ports, with funding awarded competitively based on safety, efficiency, or reliability of freight movement into, out of, around, or within a port. The Federal Motor Carrier Safety Administration (FMCSA) has opened a number of grant program opportunities, including the Commercial Motor Vehicle Operator Safety Training Program (CMVOST). The Federal Transit Administration (FTA) has roughly $469 million in available funding for its Competitive Funding Opportunity; Buses and Bus Facilities Program. The goal of the program is to assist in the financing of buses and bus facilities capital projects, including replacing, rehabilitating, purchasing or leasing buses or related equipment, and rehabilitating, purchasing, constructing or leasing bus-related facilities.
