Planning the next public meeting?  Before you do, check out this document: Tip Sheet: Planning Friendly Meetings, Going Beyond the ADA to Make Your Meeting Place User-Friendly (PDF).  Released in March 2015, this tip sheet offers suggestions such as scoping out the outdoor lighting, access points such as doors, ramps, elevators, and stairs, facilities are accessible, chairs that are easy to get in and out of, pathways within conference rooms, microphones, and other suggestions for making a meeting as accessible as possible to all potential meeting participants.
