The National Center for Rural Road Safety is sponsoring the second annual Rural Road Safety Awareness Week (RRSAW) July 19-23, 2021. Rural Road Safety Awareness Week (RRSAW) is an opportunity to promote rural road safety to the public, community leaders, and potential partners by highlighting actions that make a difference on the Rural Road to Zero fatalities and serious injuries.
This year’s RRSAW has daily themes: Safe Road Users, Safe Vehicles, Safe Speeds, Safe Roads, and Post-Crash Care. Support RRSAW by sharing with local leaders, posting to social media using hashtags #RuralRoadSafety and #RRSAW2021 and by telling followers how your organization is making a difference to improve safety along rural roadways. Looking for ideas? Visit the Rural Road Safety website for sample posts and social media graphics!
