The National Coalition on Truck Parking has released a report on its activities in 2015 – 2016. The coalition is a partnership among the U.S. Department of Transportation and stakeholder groups that was formed in 2015 in response to a documented need for truck parking solutions. The report describes challenges with truck parking and suggestions for key issue areas related to parking capacity; technology and data; funding, finance, and regulations; and intergovernmental coordination.
