NADO hosted a virtual peer exchange on public engagement in rural areas and the topics include- how Rural Transportation Planning Organizations (RTPOs) incorporate public input in rural communities, and highlight examples of public engagement practices across the country. Attendees exchanged information with peers on successful/potential engagement practices.
The presenters are Connor Vecellio, Transportation & Municipal Support Manager, North Central Pennsylvania Regional Planning and Development Commission (North Central RPO, PA); Ana Gouge, Built Environment and Connectivity Specialist, Louisiana Cooperative Extension Services (LA).
