Excellence Awards

The Excellence in Regional Transportation Awards, a program of NADO’s RPO America and the NADO Research Foundation, recognizes noteworthy projects and programs in rural, small metropolitan, and larger areas that help meet regional needs through various program areas. Each year, the Excellence Awards honor NADO members’ efforts in many program areas, including: regional multimodal transportation, bicycle and pedestrian planning, environment, equity, project implementation, public involvement, safety, transit. and more.

Learn about NADO’s other award programs, including the Impact Awards and Photo Awards programs, here. These awards programs provide an excellent opportunity for members to promote their successes to a national audience and with their regional and local partners. Applicants must be NADO members. In addition, projects must show substantial quantitative or qualitative results in their region.
