The National Center for Rural Road Safety will be hosting a webinar on how human factors impacts rural road safety on Thursday, June 19 at 1:00 p.m. ET.
In this webinar, participants will learn about the discipline of human factors, how human factors can impact rural road safety, and strategies that can be implemented in communities for mitigating related risks. Participants will also learn about the updated Human Factors Guidelines for Road Systems, which is expected to be released in summer/fall 2025, as well as NCHRP 1111 which focuses on procedures for assessing human factors contributions to crashes and selecting countermeasures that mitigate human factors risks.
