The application window is now open for a new cohort of communities through the Recreation Economy for Rural Communities (RERC) program. In partnership between EPA’s Office of Community Revitalization, USDA Forest Service, Appalachian Regional Commission, Denali Commission, and Northern Border Regional Commission, the RERC program provides technical assistance to rural communities seeking to grow their outdoor recreation economies.
