On June 29, 2023, the NADO Research Foundation and technical assistance partners at the Western Transportation Institute held a virtual roundtable discussion on microtransit, or on-demand transit. The goal of this session is to understand what microtransit is and how it helps rural mobility. The participants will walk away with real time examples on how to improve rider’s experience by operating small-scale, on-demand public transit services and how to build partnerships with a technology vendor to implement the service.
