Local Actions to Support Walking and Cycling

In This Article:

The Pedestrian and Bicycle Information Center is curating a dataset of community actions that meet changing demands on public space in response to COVID-19. The dataset provides examples for communities of all sizes looking for ways to create safe public spaces for travel and recreation. Examples include closed streets, automated walk signals, and reallocated curb space. The dataset is open access, and local governments can submit examples about street and policy changes for walking and biking.
