The Federal Transit Administration (FTA) has announced $14 billion in federal funding–including $678.2 million for rural and tribal service and $50 million for transportation for older adults and people with disabilities–through the Coronavirus Response and Relief Supplemental Appropriations Act of 2021 (CRRSAA). The supplemental funding will be provided at 100-percent federal share, with no local match required. Funding will be dispersed through Section 5307, Section 5310, and Section 5311 apportionments. FTA has updated the CARES Act Frequently Asked Questions (FAQs) webpage to reflect CRRSAA funding.
