RPO America Elects Officers, Discusses Bylaws

On Tuesday, July 30, NADO’s program affiliate RPO America conducted its annual business meeting in Greenville, SC, in conjunction with the National Regional Transportation Conference. During the meeting, members elected the following officers for the 2024-2026 term:

  • Chair: Gena McCullough, Bi-State Regional Commission (IL/IA) 
  • Vice Chair: Rick Green, Upper Savannah Council of Governments (SC)  
  • Secretary: Eli Sharp, New River Valley Regional Commission (VA) 

In addition, the members of RPO America also discussed potential changes to the program bylaws, which will be voted on in an upcoming meeting in September. All NADO members will be invited to participate in the meeting, tentatively scheduled for September 24. The proposed bylaws changes are available here (PDF).

RPO America was established in June 2006 by the NADO Board of Directors to serve as the national professional association for regional and rural transportation planning professionals, practitioners and other interested stakeholders.
