Access to Transportation in Tribal Communities: Upcoming NADTC Event

On Wednesday, December 20, 2023, at 1:00 – 2:00 p.m. Eastern Time, the National Aging and Disability Transportation Center (NADTC) will host an office hours session on transportation access in tribal communities. Learn more and register for the Zoom meeting here.

About the Event

The Cherokee Nation Transit, Choctaw Tribe of Mississippi, and Muscogee Nation Transit will join in a discussion on how their transportation programs serve their tribal and rural communities. Learn about the variety of partners, operations, specialty programs that they provide.

NADTC’s office hours events enhance training and technical assistance opportunities for attendees. These events offer further opportunities to interact with transportation peers, topic experts, and NADTC staff. To foster small group discussion, NADTC will cap attendance at 50 participants.

NADTC is a program of the Federal Transit Administration (FTA) administered by Easterseals and USAging with guidance from the Administration for Community Living (ACL). Starting in 2015, NADTC has promoted the accessibility of transportation options that meet the needs of older adults, people with disabilities, and caregivers.
