I-95 Corridor Coalition Announces 2017 Freight Academy

In This Article:

The I-95 Corridor Coalition is accepting applications for its Freight Academy, scheduled for April 30-May 5, 2017 in New Brunswick, NJ.  Applications are due January 25, 2017.

The Freight Academy is a unique six-day comprehensive immersion program designed for public agency personnel focused on goods movement. The purpose of the program is to ensure current and future public-sector decisions and investments are made with an understanding of the comprehensive supply chain. The program consists of three components: pre-study materials, a one-week immersion program, and a group Capstone project which is continued after the academy to further promote peer exchange.

Although developed by the I-95 Corridor Coalition, the coalition welcomes practitioners from all geographic regions to apply to the program.  A limited number of I-95 Coalition Scholarships are available for I-95 Coalition Members. For more information, visit or contact Marygrace Parker, Freight Academy Program Manager at [email protected] or 518-852-4083.
