FHWA’s MPO Listening Session: Public Engagement

The U.S. Department of Transportation’s Federal Highway Administration (FHWA) is exploring strategies to help practitioners make effective use of digital engagement techniques/tools and mobile apps to improve the quality and breadth of public engagement in transportation planning. FHWA invites planning practitioners from metropolitan planning organizations (MPOs) and related organizations (including regional transportation planning organizations, RPOs or RTPOs, and their state or local partners) to participate in a 1-hour interactive listening session to discuss the strategies and tools practitioners currently use, as well as new techniques that would be very useful to an organization’s public involvement efforts.
