FHWA: Proposed Rule on National Highway Performance Program

Notice of Proposed Rulemaking (NPRM) to establish performance measures to carry out the National Highway Performance Program (NHPP) is now on view at the Federal Register. This NPRM proposes performance management regulations related to assessing the condition of bridges on the National Highway System (NHS), pavements on the Interstate, and pavements on the non-Interstate NHS, as required by the Moving Ahead for Progress in the 21st Century Act (MAP-21). The public is encouraged to review the NPRM and submit comments to the docket (FHWA-2013-0053) beginning January 5, 2015.

The Federal Highway Administration (FHWA) will hold two free webinars to provide information on the NPRM. Each webinar will provide the same content.
