Audubon International’s Sustainable Communities Program provides a path to integrate sustainability into all aspects of a community, offering planning, engagement and technical assistance along the way. Designation as an Audubon International Certified Sustainable Community recognizes communities who can demonstrate a long-term commitment to a healthy local environment, high quality of life, and economic vitality.

At Community Builders, we know that a strong community creates a stronger economy. We provide research, training, and assistance for developers, realtors, planners, public officials, and engaged citizens who are actively building stronger economies in the towns and cities of the American West.

Project for Public Spaces is a nonprofit planning, design and educational organization dedicated to helping people create and sustain public spaces that build stronger communities. Our pioneering Placemaking approach helps citizens transform their public spaces into vital places that highlight local assets, spur rejuvenation and serve common needs.

The Successful Communities Online Toolkit information exchange (SCOTie) is a user-friendly clearinghouse of innovative and progressive plans, policies, and ordinances from cities, towns and counties in the Intermountain West. The case studies and resources on SCOTie assist planners and decisionmakers developing resilient and vibrant communities.

This webinar is organized by Community Builders, along with co-sponsors the NADO Research Foundation, and the American Planning Association Sustainable Communities Division.
