Save the Date: Virtual Peer Exchange on Economic Analysis in Transportation Planning

In This Article:

With support from the Federal Highway Administration (FHWA), the NADO Research Foundation will hold a series of virtual peer exchanges exploring how transportation and economic development planning practitioners can work together to maximize the economic impact of infrastructure investments, grow businesses and jobs, and strengthen the livability and vitality of communities and regions.

The first event, to be held May 23 from 12:00 – 2:00 p.m. ET, will provide hands-on training on using economic analysis to sharpen transportation planning and decision making and to ensure that infrastructure investments are supportive of regional economic prosperity. Registration information is coming soon. Space will be limited to keep the peer exchanges small and interactive. Participants will be asked to come prepared to actively engage and to complete a brief exercise before the event.
