NHTSA Reminds Drivers: Drive Sober or Get Pulled Over

In This Article:

This winter holiday season, the U.S. Department of Transportation’s National Highway Traffic Safety Administration reminds drivers of the safety messages Drive Sober or Get Pulled Over and that Buzzed Driving is Drunk Driving.  The agency’s Drive Sober messaging campaign includes new resources available for transportation safety-oriented agencies to share with their stakeholders, including an ad called “No Big Deal” that uses Virtual Reality to explore the devastation of a crash scene, as well as the SaferRide App, available in iTunes and Google Play.  View the ad and find other safety messaging resources here.  RTPOs and partner agencies can share these along with Buzzed Driving messaging on social media or through newsletters this winter.
