National Center for Mobility Management Announces Healthcare Mobility Design Grants

The Federal Transit Administration-funded National Center for Mobility Management (NCMM) has launched its Healthcare Access Mobility Design Challenge, seeking eight community-based teams to design innovative solutions to healthcare-related transportation challenges in these areas: 1) access to preventive/primary care and/or health education opportunities, 2) access to ongoing dialysis treatment, 3) access to post-hospitalization appointments, and 4) access to behavioral health treatment. Teams will receive grant funds of up to $25,000 and technical assistance over a 6-month period to take potential solutions from concept to impact.
