FHWA Announces Freight Webinar on Regional Models of Cooperation

The Federal Highway Administration has scheduled a webinar in its monthly Talking Freight series on the topic “Regional Models of Cooperation—Regional Collaboration in Freight Planning” on Wednesday, October 19, 1:00 – 2:30 p.m. ET.  Register for the free webinar here.

This webinar, which is a joint webinar between the FHWA Freight Office and FHWA Planning Office and part of the Planning Office’s Regional Models of Cooperation initiative, will focus on different types of regional collaboration in freight planning.  Speakers from the City of Chicago, Kansas City SmartPort, and the Arizona DOT will share their regional freight planning success stories, focusing on how they have collaborated across jurisdictional boundaries and with non-traditional partners to address the growing freight transportation-related issues and needs.
